Jon is mainly a bassist, playing upright and electric bass for the Cloud County Community Jazz Ensemble, the Bourbon Street band, and Lix band.

Jon began studying and performing music in elementary school. He played bass for the Eisenhower High School (Rialto, California) Jazz Band and the Rialto High School Jazz Band, and on weekends would play gigs with local Southern California punk/ska band Jive Moto. He continued studying jazz and classical music and moved to the Midwest where he played for Salina, KS based Wednesday at Kyle’s band which played rock/jazz/whatever.

Jon’s acoustic set features him on guitar singing songs from the 70’s to today including covers from 80’s New Wave, Pearl Jam, Dave Matthew’s Band, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Violent Femmes, Radio Head, Iron and Wine, the Lumineers, and others.
